LE LOEB <br /> ELECTRIC <br /> o Remove safety ground and safety locks upon completion of work <br /> o Follow PPE guidelines described in NFPA 70E-2018,Article 130.7(A) <br /> o Provide cleaning solution,vacuums, rags to clean interior of MSB line-ups. <br /> o Provide all necessary tools and testing equipment to support all work crews <br /> 2.4 PM Timeline <br /> • The PM will occur during a planned utility outage.It can be assumed that the utility outage <br /> period is 12-14 hours, unless otherwise communicated by Loeb. <br /> • The schedule date and time for the planned power outage must be approved by Amazon <br /> Corporate. <br /> 3.0 Infrared Window Installation <br /> During the scheduled utility outage, infrared windows will be installed on switchboards and <br /> Amazon/landlord owned transformers. IR Windows will permit IR Scanning while utilizing lower levels of <br /> PPE. IR Windows provided can withstand temperatures of an electric arc-fault event up to 50 kA and will <br /> allow for the ability to perform an infrared inspection. <br /> IR Windows should be placed with the optimal field of view (FOV) of the connections on the high side <br /> (line side). IR Windows should focus on the main incoming line side portions of the equipment. Please <br /> see Appendix H for a photo of where the IR Windows should be mounted. <br /> Windows should not be located within 13" from center of any breaker or BPS to avoid interference with <br /> Remote actuating device. IR windows should be considered for any upstream equipment from MSB if <br /> Amazon or Landlord owned. <br /> A total of 6 infrared windows will be shipped for each Main Switchboard,with a maximum of 6 windows <br /> to be installed at each MSB. <br /> In instances where VEECs are unable to fit all 6 windows on the high side (line side) of the Main <br /> Switchboard, excess windows may be placed on the load side. <br /> EC is to provide a knockout or equivalent tool(s). The knockout tool should be utilized for punching any <br /> needed IR window holes in the switch gear eliminating the concern of metal shavings and debris from <br /> entering the switch gear. Installation should follow Fluke installation directions provided with windows, <br /> see Appendix H. <br /> After installation of the IR Window, a dry cloth towel must be used to wipe any dust or debris from the <br /> interior and exterior lenses of the IR windows. The window covers must be in the locked position prior to <br /> building re-energization. <br /> 16Page <br />
