LE LOEB <br /> ELECTRIC <br /> ■ If barriers don't exist or have been removed;Install Barriers segregating Line side of the <br /> switchboard from load side <br /> ■ If an auxiliary relay or protection function is wired to the shunt trip, like an undervoltage relay or <br /> ground fault relay. Investigate what the device is doing and will the Arc Flash relay replace it. <br /> Approval and direction required from owner's rep or amazon EE team. <br /> ■ Remove all undervoltage devices which are wired to trip. <br /> ■ Some sites have remote building trips wired to a shut trip. These push button station need to be <br /> wired into the Arc Flash relay (IN302). <br /> ■ Function test all relay input and outputs wired during the outage. <br /> ■ Open and Close coils shall be installed on Solar Breakers that are mounted inside the main <br /> switchboard. (Do not add Open or Close coils to independent Solar switchgear) <br /> ■ Install Open and Close coils on Main breaker. <br /> ■ If the Main switchboard is connected downstream of a Service Entrance ATS or generator has <br /> breaker to backfeed entire MSB. <br /> • Wire the Arc Flash relay trip to the upstream 52U breaker (OUT301) <br /> • Wire a block close from the Arc Flash relay OUT303 to the start signal of the generator. If the <br /> Arc Flash relays trips on 50AF it will open the start signal and not have the ability to start the <br /> generator. <br /> ■ In case of bolted pressure switch; ground fault protection will be using SEL 751 Relay <br /> 50N Function set at 1200A with a time delay of 1 Sec. <br /> ■ Follow PPE guidelines described in NFPA 70E-2018,Article 130.7(A) <br /> ■ Contractors are required to have spare parts and components on hand that are critical to <br /> the installation and where replacement can only be achieved with a utility outage.These <br /> spare parts should include but are not limited to: <br /> • Spare fiber optic arc sensing cables <br /> • Spare Lugs <br /> • Spare Fuses <br /> • Spare shunt trip <br /> ■ Additional Technical Details <br /> • Refer to Drawing sets for all details <br /> • Remote open and close function to be available for Main breakers and Solar breakers <br /> • Install CTs closest to the utility cables as possible <br /> • OUT101 Main Breaker Close <br /> • OUT102 Solar Breaker Close <br /> • OUT103 Stack light and Alarm <br /> • OUT 301 is the Main Breaker Trip <br /> • OUT 302 is Solar Trip? <br /> • OUT 303 is-generator Trip or block <br /> • IN101 Main breaker 52A <br /> • IN301 UPS Alarm <br /> • IN302 Spare Input <br /> • IN304 Control power fuse open <br /> 19Page <br />
