Arc Flash Relay should be installed with center of <br /> screen at 57' AFF and as close as possible to the main breaker. If this cannot be met, please <br /> notify Loeb Electric prior to mounting. <br /> o Install (1) three phase disconnect switch between switchboard and relay(minimum 10A <br /> rating) <br /> o Install conduit (to be completed prior to scheduled outage). <br /> • (1) one-inch conduit from relay to disconnect switch (voltage wiring) <br /> ■ (1) one inch conduit from disconnect switch to switchboard main breaker <br /> section (voltage wiring) <br /> ■ (1) one inch conduit from relay to main switchboard main breaker section (CT <br /> and control wiring) <br /> • (1) one inch conduit from relay to identified BMS point. Only needs to be riser <br /> to ceiling on both ends and then free air. (CAT6 or fiber) <br /> o Optionally—the voltage, CT, and control wiring may be ran in (1) one inch conduit with a junction <br /> box for connection of voltage wires to the disconnect switch (1) one inch conduit from relay to <br /> switchboard main breaker section (fiber optic cables). Fiber optic conduit length should not exceed <br /> 20ft in length.If conduit length needs to be longer than 20ft notify Loeb so longer fiber optic <br /> cabling can be supplied. Cut access hole in gear during outage. <br /> o Follow PPE guidelines described in NFPA 70E-2018,Article 130.7(A) <br /> 201 Page <br />
