LE LOEB <br /> ELECTRIC <br /> 1.1 Program Terms and Definitions <br /> • Amazon: Refers to the Amazon corporate or site associates. <br /> • Arc Flash Relay: Refers to the protective device installed at the main switchboard line-ups. This <br /> relay reduces arc flash energy by quickly clearing the current feeding the arc. <br /> • Contractors: Refers to both the electrical contractor and vendor electrical engineer contractor. <br /> • Customer: Refers to Amazon. <br /> • Electrical Contractor(EC): Refers to the electrician team hired either by the VEEC or directly by <br /> Loeb Electric. <br /> • Infrared (IR) Window: Refers to the viewing windows installed within gear to allow for <br /> safer infrared scanning. <br /> • Infrared (IR) Thermographer: Refers to the certified infrared thermographer that has been <br /> subcontracted to perform IR Scanning, Visual Equipment Inspections, and provide a written <br /> report of found conditions, and recommendations. The IR thermographer must carry a Level 1 <br /> or greater certification. <br /> • Loeb: Refers to the Loeb Electric team.A dedicated Project Manager will be the single point of <br /> contact to facilitate communications between all parties involved. <br /> • Owner's Representative: Amazon EE or third-party representative hired to act on owner's interest <br /> ensuring quality. <br /> • Utility Outage: Refers to the 12-14-hour window when operations will cease, and the local utility <br /> will power down the facility. The proposed utility outage will allow 10-12 hours for technicians to <br /> work with tools-in-hands. <br /> • Vendor Electrical Engineer Contractor (VEEC): Engineering partner hired by Loeb Electric. <br /> 1.2 General Program Expectations <br /> This project has many firm requirements and strict timelines. If you are unable to adhere to the <br /> requirements of this Scope of Work, please do not accept the work.The following expectations will <br /> ensure a successful program: <br /> • Acceptance of Work: By acceptance of work in the AFRI program, you are agreeing to follow all <br /> instruction and protocol provided in within this scope of work document. Failure to comply with <br /> set instruction and protocol may result in removal from program. <br /> • Access Hours: <br /> o The PM, Arc Flash Relay Install, and IR Window Install will take place during a LOEB <br /> scheduled utility outage.These are typically scheduled for 12-14-hours.This outage <br /> window will be unique to each site and provided by Amazon to Loeb no less than (12) <br /> weeks prior to outage date. <br /> ■ The 12-14-hour utility outage allows the utility(1) hour to de-energize, and (1) <br /> hour to re-energize the facility. Contractors are to plan for 10-12 hours tools-in- <br /> hand, dependent on total time allotted. Contractors total time on site should <br /> include the following time allotment provisions: <br /> • 30 minutes for security badging and job set up <br /> • 1 hour to shut down and LOTO equipment <br /> • 10-12 hours tools in hand <br /> • 1 hour to remove LOTO and power up equipment <br /> 41 <br />
