40 <br /> Any person wishing to place or cause to be placed any such <br /> building materials in any public street, avenue or other public place <br /> as specified in Section 1 of this ordinance, instead of furnishing a <br /> separate bond in each individual instance, may on making written ap- <br /> plication therefor to said City Council, furnish a good and suffic- <br /> ient bond, with one or more sureties, to be furnished by any surety <br /> company authorized to transact the business of a surety within the <br /> State of Washington, to said City of Everett in the penal sum of <br /> two thousand dollars (42000.00), which bond shall apply to and cover <br /> all such permits which may thereafter be granted to said applicant <br /> during the period of one year from such original application. Said <br /> bond shall be approved by the City Council and shall be conditioned <br /> as provided in Section 1 of this ordinance, and shall also be aKpres- <br /> sly conditioned to be applicable to all permits which may be graated <br /> to said applicant during the period of one year from the date of <br /> such original applications <br /> Section 3: No person, corporation, firm or association of <br /> persons shall leave any of the building material or materials men- <br /> tioned in Section 1 hereof in or upon any street, avenue, alley or oth- <br /> erublic ground in the City of Everett without erecting barriers <br /> sufficient to adequately safeguard persons and/or property, and, dur- <br /> ing the night time, placing thereon red lights sufficient and adequate <br /> to warn any and all persons of danger, and no person, Corporatiaa , <br /> firm or association of persons shall leave any building in or upon <br /> any such street, avenue, alley or other public ground in the City of <br /> Everett during the hours of darkness within one hundred feet of any <br /> street, intersection and without having the entire block in which said <br /> building is left adeauately barricaded and closed to traffic and with- <br /> out placing on said building and on said barriers red lights suf- <br /> ficient and adeauate and so placed as to warn all approaching traf- <br /> fic of the existence of said obstruction in said place and without <br />
