GE- u� .4 .v.r., _ <br /> having 3w -shr eal St--etch sad or aide of such building ar4.4n.r rr�1� <br /> Section 4: It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, <br /> their agents or employees engaged in the removal of any building <br /> along or across any street, avenue, alley or other public ground, to <br /> fasten "dogs" or other appliances used in said work of removal on <br /> the sidewalks, curbing, gutters, street planking, pavement or street <br /> crossings in said city. <br /> Section 5: Any permit or license provided for herein m< y be <br /> revoked at any time by said City Council for any violation on the <br /> part of the holder of any of the conditions of said ordinances or reg- <br /> ulations of said City Council relating to such use of the public <br /> streets. <br /> Section 6: The City Council of said city is authorized to <br /> grant to any person a permit in writing to place and keep any build- <br /> ing materials in any of the public streets, alleys, avenues, or other <br /> public places of said city for a period of time not exceeding three <br /> months, but such permit shall not authorize the obstruction of more <br /> than one-third of the carriageway of the street opposite the lot on <br /> which a building is to be erected or repaired by the person to whom <br /> such permit is issued; and every person to whom such permit shall be <br /> granted shall construct and maintain during the entire time he shall <br /> obstruct any such street, avenue, alley or other public place under <br /> such permit a temporary sidewalk at least two feet in width around said <br /> obstruction. <br /> Provided, however, that no such permit shall be granted until <br /> the applicant shall have deposited with the City Clerk, the sum of <br /> ten dollars (410.00) in cases where a wooden sidewalk, and twenty-five <br /> dollars (425.00) in cases where a cement sidewalk runs along that por- <br /> tion of the street to be occupied, as further security for the immed- <br /> iate restoration of such walk to as good a condition as the same was <br /> before the granting of said permit.
