2024 Pavement Maintenance Overlay SPECIAL PROVISIONS PW# 3823 25 The Contractor and/or its subcontractor(s) and/or its design consultant providing construction 1 management, value engineering, or any other design-related non-construction professional 2 services shall provide evidence of Professional Liability insurance covering professional 3 errors and omissions. 4 5 Such policy shall provide the following minimum limits: 6 $1,000,000 per claim and annual aggregate 7 8 If the scope of such design-related professional services includes work related to pollution 9 conditions, the Professional Liability insurance shall include coverage for Environmental 10 Professional Liability. 11 12 If insurance is on a claims-made form, its retroactive date, and that of all subsequent 13 renewals, shall be no later than the effective date of this Contract. 14 15 1-07.23.GR1 16 Public Convenience and Safety 17 18 1-07.23(1).GR1 19 Construction Under Traffic 20 21 1-07.23(1).INST1.GR1 22 Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following: 23 24 F1-07.23(1).OPT5.DOCX 25 (February 6, 2023) 26 Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are subject to the following restrictions: 27 28 *** 29 41st St – Colby Ave to Broadway Overpass 30 No lane closures or single lane alternating flagging operation will be permitted between 31 5:00am and 6:00pm. Casting adjustments shall not be permitted between 2:00pm and 32 5:00pm. 33 34 A noise variance has been obtained on behalf of the Contractor. All mitigation 35 measures stated in the contract and appendix shall be adhered to. 36 37 37th St – Colby Ave to Broadway Ave 38 *Work between Oakes Ave and Broadway Ave shall not be permitted while school is in 39 session or within two hours of scheduled events at Funko Field.* 40 No lane closures or single lane alternating flagging operation will be permitted between 41 10:00pm and 7:00am. The contractor has been granted a 1 hour early start from 42 6:00am to 7:00am for traffic control setup only. Casting adjustments shall not be 43 permitted between 9:00pm and 7:00am. 44 45 A noise variance for early start has been obtained on behalf of the Contractor. The 46 early start time to begin traffic control only shall be requested and approved by the 47 Engineer at the preconstruction conference. The Engineer has the right to disallow the 48 early start if the Contractor performs other work than traffic control setup. All mitigation 49 measures stated in the contract and appendix shall be adhered to. 50 51 37th St – Broadway Ave to McDougall Ave 52
