2024 Pavement Maintenance Overlay SPECIAL PROVISIONS PW# 3823 77 8-22.2 Materials 1 2 All plastic marking, except bicycle pavement markings and symbols, shall be Type D. 3 4 8-22.3 Construction Requirements 5 6 Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard 7 Specifications with the following modifications: 8 9 1) All Stop Line shall be 24” wide Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is 10 not allowed. 11 2) All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24” wide, installed in accordance with 12 City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic 13 flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. 14 3) All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of 15 travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. 16 4) Profiled plastic Type D material, where called for in the Appendices to the Special 17 Provisions, shall be used for lane line dividing traffic in the same direction of travel 18 including plastic skip white lane line, and solid white edge line, or other lines 19 staked by the Engineer. 20 5) All white parking lines shall be shall be Type D plastic flat line. 21 6) All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 22 7) Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, bicycle symbols, and speed hump 23 symbols shall be Type D extruded plastic flat line.
