<br />Unit contract price shall include all coordination efforts with the City and assistance as City forces
<br />make the actual connection. Connection of a water service line to the watermain and connection
<br />of new water service line to existing water service line will not be considered a connection to the
<br />existing system.
<br />Bid Item A30, B29, C28 - Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, 1-inch

<br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA).
<br />The unit contract price for Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, ___-Inch shall constitute full
<br />compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for installation of a new
<br />corporation stop and service saddle in accordance with Parts A and B of COE Standard Drawing
<br />No. 501 or water service connection detail on the Plans, including yet not limited to, furnishing
<br />and installing the service saddle and corporation stop; trench excavation and dewatering,
<br />pavement removal, backfill and compaction; and testing the connection.
<br />Bid Item B30 - Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-inch

<br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br />The unit contract price for Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-Inch, shall constitute full
<br />compensation for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for providing assembly in
<br />accordance with Parts A, B, C, and L of COE Standard Drawing No. 502 or water service
<br />connection detail on the Plans, including yet not limited to, furnishing and installing the service
<br />saddle, brass nipple, gate valve, valve box; trench excavation and dewatering, pavement
<br />removal, backfill and compaction; and testing the connection.

<br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).
<br />The unit contract price for Water Service ___-inch, shall constitute full compensation for all labor,
<br />materials, tools and equipment necessary for new service lines continuous and unspliced from
<br />the new main to a new meter setter in accordance with Parts C-G of COE Standard Drawing No.
<br />501, or Parts D-G of COE Standard Drawing No. 502, or water service connection detail on the
<br />Plans, including yet not limited to, connecting to service connection saddle, street pavement,
<br />concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway, and concrete sidewalk removal,
<br />unless installed using approved boring methods; furnishing, installing, and testing to curb stop,
<br />valves, fittings, and installation of service line, and appurtenances; providing a #10 copper tracer
<br />wire for polyethylene pipe, compaction, connection to existing or new meter setter including
<br />fittings; dewatering; testing; removal or abandonment of existing service connection.
<br />Cost for furnishing and placing geogrid required within trench backfill is incidental to this Bid Item
<br />(Madrona site only).

<br />gate valve, tee, reducers; pipe installation; restrained joint fittings; trench excavation, backfill and
<br />compaction; street pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway and
