Non-wetland soils were very dry during the August 2023 <br /> inspection. <br /> Given the lack of direct hydrologic indicators lack of hydric soil indicators,it is concluded that areas <br /> mapped as non-wetland do not meet criteria for wetlands. <br /> 4.3 WiIIDLiFE <br /> The on-site forested wetland and associated buffers provide features that are beneficial to wildlife <br /> including resources such as food,water, thermal cover, and hiding cover in close proximity. These <br /> lists are not meant to be all-inclusive and may omit species that currently utilize or could utilize the <br /> site. No threatened or endangered species or eagle nests are known to be associated with this site. <br /> Avian <br /> The following lists are wildlife species that are expected to use the site. Avian species include: <br /> American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos), Black-Capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus), American <br /> robin (Turdus migratorius), Bushtit (Psaltriparus minimus), Dark-Eyed Junco (junco hyemalis), hairy <br /> woodpecker (Leuconotopicus villosus), Downy woodpecker (Picoides pubescens), Brown Creeper (Certhia <br /> americana), hawks, and eagles. <br /> Mammals <br /> Mammals expected to use this site include:Virginia opossum(Didelphis virginiana),shrews(Sorex spp.), <br /> Douglas' squirrel (Tamiasciums douglasia), eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis), raccoon (Procyon <br /> lotor),eastern cottontail rabbits(Sylvilagusfloridanus), Columbian black-tailed deer(Odocoileus hemionus <br /> columbianus), various bat species, and coyotes (Canis latrans). <br /> Amphibia <br /> Other wildlife expected to use this site include: pacific tree frog (Hyla regilla), northwestern <br /> salamander(Ambystoma gracile), and rough-skinned newt(Taricha granulosa). <br /> 2127100th Street SE 9 WRI#23188 <br /> Critical Area Study and Mitigation Plan October 9, 2023 <br />
