Shear Wall Schedule <br />Notes are provided but no shear wall schedule. Plans should include a shear wall <br />schedule. <br />b. It appears that a wind analysis is provided but a shear wall design is not included. <br />Calculations substantiating the design should be submitted for review. Note that <br />hold downs should be provided to resist uplift forces caused by overturning effects <br />by lateral forces, see IBC 1604.4 and 2018 SDPWS 4.3.6.4.4. <br />This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br />amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br />during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br />requirements.
