Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 93 1 2-02.3(3).GR2 2 Removal of Pavement, Sidewalks, Curbs, and Gutters 3 4 2-02.3(3).INST1.GR2 5 Section 2-02.3(3) is supplemented with the following: 6 7 2-02.3(3).OPT2.DOCX 8 (******) 9 All full-depth saw cuts shall be continuous, and shall be made with saws specifically 10 equipped for the purpose. No skip cutting or jack hammering will be allowed unless 11 specifically approved otherwise in writing by the Engineer. The location of all 12 pavement cuts shall be where shown in the Plans or as approved by the Engineer in 13 the field before cutting commences. 14 15 The approximate thickness of the asphalt concrete pavement is 4 inches. 16 17 All saw cutting performed in the Contract shall provide for and include removal and 18 disposal of slurry created from water cooling/lubrication, in accordance with the 19 Washington State Department of Ecology regulations.
