The Manta Ray mechanical soil anchors shall be 30 installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Pre-drilling may be required. 31 32 Pipe Anchor Type B 33 Earth anchoring system using pipe stakes on pipe placed on surface mounted pipe, with 34 limits as shown in the Plans. 35 36 HDPE Installation 37 Section 7-04.3(2) is added as follows: 38 39 7-04.3(2)A Submittals 40 The Contractor shall submit the following to the Engineer for review and approval 41 five (5) working days in advance of the pre-construction conference, as specified in 42 Section 1-08.0(1) of the Special Provisions: 43 44 1. A detailed written narrative of the pipe construction procedure and 45 sequence. 46 2. List of equipment/machinery used. 47 3. Bypass pumping plan. 48 4. The pipe fusion equipment operator/technician’s experience and verifiable 49 references. 50
