Providing survey Work to set and maintain reference points is also included. 28 29 8-13.2 Materials 30 Materials shall be as specified in City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 323, 324, 325. 31 32 8-13.3 Construction Requirements 33 34 8-13.3(1) Survey Monuments 35 The Contractor shall reference all monuments within the project limits in advance of 36 construction, and will set reference points. The Contractor must file for and obtain a 37 Monument Destruction Permit with the Washington State Department of Natural 38 Resources in accordance with WAC 332-120. Whenever a survey monument not 39 shown in the Plans is discovered, the Contractor shall immediately bring it to the attention 40 of the Engineer and shall take all precautions necessary to avoid damaging it. 41 42 Whenever an existing monument is disturbed, or when a new monument is set, the 43 Contractor shall coordinate with the Contracting Agency to obtain and complete required 44 monument permit documentation. The Contracting Agency contact person is Gael Fisk 45 at (425) 257-8909. 46 47 Survey monuments shall be furnished and set by the Contractor at positions determined 48 by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor provided by the Contractor.
