Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 170 8-14.4.OPT1.DOCX 1 (******) 2 Cement concrete transition ramp will be measured by the square yard of completed 3 transition ramp surface installed and includes dowel bar connections to adjacent 4 sidewalk, where applicable. 5 6 8-14.5.DOCX 7 Payment 8 9 8-14.5.INST1.DOCX 10 Section 8-14.5 is supplemented with the following: 11 12 8-14.5.OPT1.DOCX 13 (******) 14 “Cement Conc. Transition Ramp”, per square yard. 15 The unit Contract price per square yard for “Cement Conc. Transition Ramp” shall be full 16 pay for constructing the transition ramp as specified, including dowel bar connections to 17 adjacent sidewalk where applicable, all labor, materials, equipment, formwork and 18 excavations including haul and disposal required for constructing the transition ramp to 19 the lines and grades shown. 20 21 Payment for “Cement Conc. Transition Ramp” as specified shall be contingent on the 22 Contractor verifying that all slopes, lines and grades comply with Contract Documents. All 23 Work not in compliance with Contract Documents shall be considered defective and all 24 costs associated with removing and/or replacing defective Work shall be the Contractor’s 25 responsibility in accordance with Section 1-05.7. 26 27 8-20.GR8 28 Illumination, Traffic Signal Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and 29 Electrical 30 31 8-20.2.GR8 32 Materials 33 34 8-20.2.INST1.GR8 35 Section 8-20.2 is supplemented with the following: 36 37 CNH 8-20.2(9-29.1) CONDUIT.DOCX 38 (City of Everett GSP) 39 Conduit, Innerduct, and Outerduct 40 Section 9-29.1 is supplemented with the following: 41 42 Pull String 43 All conduit shown in the plans, proposed and existing conduit to receive conductors, 44 and conduit installed for future use, shall have flat woven polyester tape installed and 45 secured at either end of the run. Tape shall be detectable, ½” minimum width and 46 printed with sequential footage markings. Pull strength shall be 900lbs minimum. 47
