The 18 Contractor shall salvage and stockpile logs 12 inches in diameter and greater and 10 feet 19 minimum in length for use and installation as down logs in the vegetation restoration areas 20 after bridge construction as detailed herein or as directed by the Engineer. 21 22 Salvaged and stockpiled log lengths of 10 feet minimum shall be placed and disbursed 23 parallel to slope contours in vegetation restoration native planting areas as shown on the 24 Plans at the time of site restoration prior to planting and installing mulch. Ivy shall be 25 removed from the logs prior to placement.
