f. Sump. <br />g. Cover. <br />h. Maintain stockpile until substantial completion. <br />This stockpile shall be installed and maintained throughout this project. This stockpile will stay <br />onsite and the soils will not be reused until Phase 2 which is not part of this project. <br />Payment shall be per the unit price of insitu soils — no expansion allowed. <br />Bid Item 12 - ZONE A OVER -EXCAVATION <br />Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard (CY ) <br />The bid item includes all costs associated with furnishing the tools, labor, equipment, and <br />materials necessary or incidental to do the following: <br />a. Furnishing, preparation, placing, and compacting imported backfill for replacement of <br />excavated unsuitable areas in Zone A. This includes excavation of unsuitable material that is <br />below the excavation limits shown on the Drawings and backfill to excavation limits on <br />drawings with quarry spalls as directed by the Engineer. <br />Payment shall be per the unit price. <br />Bid Item 13 - OVER -EXCAVATION <br />Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard (CY ) <br />The bid item includes all costs associated with furnishing the tools, labor, equipment, and <br />materials necessary or incidental to do the following: <br />a. Furnishing, preparation, placing, and compacting imported backfill for replacement of <br />excavated unsuitable areas outside of Zone A. This includes excavation of unsuitable <br />material that is below the excavation limits shown on the Drawings and backfill to excavation <br />limits on drawings with quarry spalls as directed by the Engineer. <br />Payment shall be per the unit price. <br />Bid Item 14 - FINAL GRADING AND SITE WORK <br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br />The lump sum bid price for this bid item shall be full compensation for all costs associated with <br />furnishing the tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary or incidental for the following: <br />a. Final grading and topsoil placement <br />b. Paving <br />c. Plants, landscaping, and hydroseeding <br />d. Fences and gates including braces, posts, and all other materials necessary for construction <br />Partial payment shall be calculated based on the ratio of work completed as listed in the Schedule <br />of Values. <br />Bid Item 15 - UNDERDRAIN SUMP PUMP <br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br />The lump sum bid price for this bid item shall be full compensation for all costs associated with <br />furnishing the tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary or incidental for the following: <br />a. Manhole structure, weirs, pump rails, pumps, power and control systems, level transmitter, <br />and all other materials necessary for construction, start-up, testing, and training. <br />b. Not included in this bid item is excavation and backfill, and any temporary dewatering, piping <br />or pumping as required to install the underdrain sump pump system. <br />Partial payment shall be calculated based on the ratio of work completed as listed in the Schedule <br />of Values. <br />Bid Item 16 - STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS <br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br />The lump sum bid price for this bid item shall be full compensation for all costs associated with <br />furnishing the tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary or incidental for the following: <br />Reservoir 3 Replacement Phase 1 <br />Work Order No. UP3739 01 22 00 <br />MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT March 2024 <br />
