a. Submit time impact analysis with Change Proposal per Contract modification <br />procedures. <br />b. When time impact analysis is not part of a Change Proposal, submit each time impact <br />analysis within 10 days after the following, as applicable: <br />1) Start of the delay. <br />2) After Contractor's receipt of Work Change Directive. <br />c. When Contractor does not submit time impact analysis for a specific change or delay, <br />within the specified period for such submittal, such non -submittal will indicate extension <br />of the Contract time is not needed. <br />B. Evaluation by Engineer: <br />1. Engineer's evaluation of each time impact analysis comprised of complete information will <br />be completed in timely manner after Engineer's receipt. <br />2. When time impact analysis is incomplete or otherwise inappropriate, Engineer will furnish <br />comments to Contractor. When time impact analysis is complete and apparently <br />appropriate, its acceptability will be indicated by associated Contract modification or <br />allowance authorization. <br />3. Changes in the Contract time will be made only by Change Order. <br />4. When mutual agreement is reached between the parties on effect of the change or delay in <br />the Project, incorporate into the next Progress Schedule update the associated changes <br />illustrating the influence of changes and delays. <br />1.12 RECOVERY SCHEDULES <br />A. General: <br />1. When updated Progress Schedule indicates the ability to comply with the Contract Times <br />falls 14 days or more behind schedule, and there is no excusable delay, Change Order, or <br />Work Change Directive to support an extension of the Contract time, Contractor shall <br />prepare and submit to Engineer the Contractor's recovery schedule. <br />2. Recovery schedule is a Progress Schedule demonstrating Contractor's plan to accelerate <br />the Work to achieve compliance with the Contract time. If achieving the Contract time is <br />not feasible, Contractor's recovery schedule shall indicate Contractor's plan to recover as <br />much of the lost time as possible to complete the Work as close as possible to the Contract <br />time. <br />3. Submit recovery schedule within 7 days after submittal of updated Progress Schedule <br />where need for recovery schedule is indicated. <br />B. Recovery Schedule Report: <br />1. With each recovery schedule submittal, include recovery schedule narrative report, <br />prepared by Contractor indicating name of person responsible for preparing the recovery <br />schedule and report. <br />2. Recovery schedule report shall indicate Contractor's plan for accelerating the Work and <br />recovering lost time and shall indicate the total number of days expected to be recovered <br />by Contractor's implementation of the recovery schedule. Clearly indicate how the <br />intended actions will recover lost time. <br />3. Contractor is fully responsible for complying with the Contract Documents, including the <br />Contract time. <br />C. Implementation of Recovery Schedule: <br />1. At no additional cost to Owner, do one or more of the following, as appropriate: (a) furnish <br />additional labor, (b) provide additional construction equipment and machinery, (c) provide <br />suitable materials to accelerate the Work, (d) employ additional work shifts, (e) expedite <br />procurement of materials and equipment to be incorporated into the Work or otherwise <br />expedite delivery of such items, (f) provide other needed resources, and (g) provide other <br />measures necessary to complete the Work within the Contract time. <br />2.
