Reversing the door swing in the lower rear halfway leading to the rear egress stairs per IBC <br /> Section 1010.1.2.1. <br /> A: The door has been revised to swing in the direction of egress. See A2.2 <br /> c. Removing the door at the top of the stairs per IBC Section 1010.1.6. <br /> A: The door has been removed at the top of the stairs. See A2.1 &A2.2. <br /> 4. The main dining areas at both levels should be provided with maximum occupant load signs per <br /> IBC Section 1004.9. The locations of the signs should be specified in the floor plans. <br /> A: Sign location has been added on each floor. See A2.O <br /> 5. The floor plans should specify exit signs. Intermediate exit signs should include direction <br /> arrows where door signs are not readily visible. The lighting, including existing locations, <br /> should specify a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section 1013.6.3. <br /> See IBC Section 1013.1. <br /> A: All existing and proposed Exit signage has been added to the floor plans as <br /> well as notation to provide minimum 90 minutes of uninterrupted power <br /> supply. <br /> 6. Emergency means-of-egress illumination should be provided per IBC Section 1008.3. The <br /> construction drawings shall include a reflected ceiling plan indicating egress lighting. The <br /> lighting shall specify a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section <br /> 1008.3.4. <br /> A: Existing emergency means-of-egress lighting has been shown on the floor <br /> plan (A2.2) and the expansion area emergency means-of-egress lighting is <br /> provided on the Reflected ceiling plan (A2.3). <br /> 7. The exterior landings providing egress should be provided with emergency lighting. The <br /> lighting shall specify a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section <br /> 1008.3.4. See IBC Sections 1008.3.2 Item 5 and 1010.1.6. <br /> A: Existing emergency means-of-egress lighting has been shown on the floor <br /> plan (A2.2) and the expansion area emergency means-of-egress lighting is <br /> provided on the Reflected ceiling plan (A2.3). <br /> Accessibility: <br /> 8. The proposed project should comply with the requirements for assembly aisles per IBC Section <br /> 1029, including but not limited to additional clearances per Section 1029.13.1 where non-fixed <br /> furnishes occur.
