City of Everett 00 73 00 - 2 <br /> <br /> <br />00 73 00 - 2 SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />checks, which includes fingerprinting, and Security Awareness Training before award <br />can be made. The cost of Background checks, Fingerprinting, and Security Awareness <br />Training will be borne by the City of Everett Police Department. Failure to submit to or <br />pass the background check and complete the Security Awareness Training will result in <br />the designated employee being prohibited from working or providing services on this <br />contract and may result in the General Contractor being considered "Non-Responsive.” <br />B. An Owner Representative will be assigned to each building who must remain on site <br />during each day of construction and serve as an escort to monitor contractor activities <br />during all phases of construction. A daily employee log book will be maintained and <br />available for viewing or auditing, upon request. <br />C. A designated General Contractor Site Supervisor will be required at each location during <br />construction based on the agreed work schedule. The designees will be issued up to <br />three temporary City identification badges and necessary keys for the scheduled work. <br />The Site Supervisors will be accountable and responsible for maintaining these items <br />and may not remove items from the sites. Items will be turned in to the Owner <br />Representative at the end of each day or as otherwise agreed upon. Loss of the access <br />card or badge must be reported immediately. Failure to adhere to this may result in <br />contract default. Prior to the start of construction, Contractor and Owner’s <br />representatives shall discuss Security Protocols for contracted and subcontracted <br />workers before they are allowed to work the secured buildings. <br />D. At Owner’s discretion duties may include escorting workers into and from secured <br />spaces, working with city staff to complete daily worker logs and may be responsible for <br />tracking temporary badge access cards and keys. <br />E. Contractor may be required to provide screens, curtains, barricades and temporary <br />signage to cordon off restricted areas. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION 00 73 00
