On Sheet A-4 and A-5, the note regarding artificial illumination at top, bottom, and landing of <br />stairway should be updated to reference IRC 303.7. <br />9. The plans should show that the building is required to undergo an air leakage test (performed <br />by a licensed 3rd party agency). The testing requirements should be shown on the plans <br />according to WA State Energy Code Section R402.4. <br />13. It appears that the energy credits listed on Sheet A-1 does not add up to the total amount of <br />7.0. <br />14. Plans should specify safety glazing for all windows with the exposed area of an individual pane <br />larger than 9 square feet, the bottom edge of glazing is less than 18 inches above the floor, the <br />top edge of the glazing is more than 36 inches above the floor, and one or more walking <br />surfaces are within 36 inches. See Sheet A-4, Front Porch next to the planter and store front <br />glazing on Grid Line 2, A, and B. See Sheet A-5, store front glazing located at Master Bedroom. <br />R308.4.3 <br />15. Plans should show a landing outside of each exterior door. The width of each landing should <br />not be less than the width of the door served and have a minimum dimension of 36 inches <br />measured in the direction of travel. R311.3 <br />16. It appears that several window sizes are missing from the plans. See Sheet A-6, Grid Line E and <br />Bedroom 2 on Sheet A-5. R106.1.1 <br />17.
