Section 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF WORK City of Everett 01 11 00-2 June 2024 WFP Air Scour Blower Building Replacement Issued for Bid UP3813 8. Provide ventilation for the new building. 9. Provide site improvements, such as drainage piping and crushed surfacing top course. 1.02 SUBMITTALS A. Prior to mobilization the following submittals shall be submitted to the City for review and approval. 1. Contractor’s Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan, see Section 01 50 00 - Temporary Facilities and Controls. 2. Health and Safety Plan (specific to this project), see Section 01 35 29. B. Prior to construction, the following submittals must be submitted to the City for review and approval. Other submittals may be required and are listed in other sections of these specifications. 1. Construction Plan – See 1.03.D below. 2. Subcontractors List. 3. Schedule of Values – see Section 01 29 73. 4. Project Schedule – see Section 01 32 16. 5. Other submittals per Section 01 33 00. 1.03 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES A. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of products under this Contract. B. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for use of any additional parking, storage, or work areas needed for his/her operations. C. The Contractor shall limit the construction activities to the areas indicated on the Drawings. D. Construction Plan: Before the start of construction, provide a construction plan regarding access to Work, use of Site, proposed laydown areas and utility outages for acceptance by the City. After acceptance of the plan, construction operations shall comply with the accepted plan unless deviations are accepted by the City in writing. E. The project is located within the City of Everett’s Water Filtration Plant and all City operations shall not be impeded by the construction activities of this project. 1.04 WORK HOURS A. Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. B. The Work site is available from 0600 – 1730 during the work week (M-F) excluding City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City's Project Manager. Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval
