<br /> <br />City of Everett 01 31 19-1 June 2024 <br />WFP Air Scour Blower Building Replacement Issued for Bid <br />UP3813 <br />SECTION 01 31 19 <br />PROJECT MEETINGS <br />PART 1 : GENERAL <br />1.01 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING <br />A. After award of the Contract, the Project Manager will schedule a pre-construction <br />conference at a date and time mutually agreeable to all concerned parties. The <br />Project Manager will conduct the conference, record minutes, and issue copies <br />thereof to all in attendance. <br />B. Attendance by the Contractor's project manager, job superintendent and all <br />Subcontractors is required. Suppliers, and other parties interested in the <br />performance of the Work may also attend. <br />C. The purpose of the conference is to introduce all primary parties involved in the <br />construction of the Project and to review procedures to be followed during <br />construction. Discussion will follow detailed Project Manual requirements <br />including, but not limited to: <br />1. Project Administration: <br />a. Names, telephone numbers and email addresses of the following: <br />1) City. <br />2) Contractor. <br />b. Names of project managers, superintendents, and foremen and <br />accompanying telephone and email addresses for the following: <br />1) Contractor. <br />2) Contractor's major Subcontractors. <br />2. Communications: <br />a. Channel of communications. <br />b. Instructions to Contractor. <br />c. Oral conversations and requirements for written backup. <br />d. Appropriate Contractor-City communication. <br />e. Requests for information from Contractor to the City. <br />3. Submittal Data: <br />a. List of Subcontractors and Suppliers. <br />b. Submittals. <br />c. Samples. <br />d. Progress Schedule. <br />4. Change Orders: <br />a. Origination.
