CITY OF EVERETT WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE/ALVERSON AND 41 ST ST/GRAND AVE <br />PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE FUND# HLP-PB15(032) <br />WO #3630 July 25, 2024 <br />118 <br />1 All costs associated with the removal and installation of signs on the traffic signal poles <br />2 shall be included in the associated lump sum bid item for permanent signing. <br />3 <br />4 The Contract Price for Directional Boring/Conduit Installation Two (2) 2-Inch shall be <br />5 full pay for furnishing all labor materials, tools, equipment and electrical supervision <br />6 associated with the directional boring of the conduit trunk system. It shall also include <br />7 furnishing all conduits, couplings, placing the conduit, excavation, backfilling, all other work <br />8 necessary for the installation of the trunk conduit system, and all required potholing to <br />9 verify locations of existing utilities. All costs associated with potholing and excavation <br />10 required to ascertain utilities in accordance with Section 8-20.3(2)A shall be included with <br />11 this Work with no direct compensation made. <br />12 <br />13 All costs associated with adjusting junction boxes to grade including excavation, backfill, <br />14 and restoration of adjacent areas in a manner acceptable to the ENGINEER, shall be <br />15 included in the associated traffic signal bid item. <br />16 <br />17 If junction box adjustment involves conduit modification, as determined by the ENGINEER, <br />18 payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-09.6. <br />19 <br />20 All costs associated with the installation of the electrical service, illumination system, <br />21 rectangular rapid flashing beacon system and associated hardware shall be included in <br />22 the associated lump sum bid item for traffic signal system. <br />23 <br />24 (******) <br />25 8-20.5 Payment <br />26 <br />27 Section 8-20.5 is supplemented with the following: <br />28 <br />29 Permanent Signing, per Lump Sum. <br />30 <br />31 Directional Boring/Conduit Installation Two (2) 2-Inch, per Linear Foot. <br />32 <br />33 Traffic Signal System, per Lump Sum. <br />34 <br />35 All costs associated with adjusting junction boxes to grade including excavation, backfill, and <br />36 restoration of adjacent areas in a manner acceptable to the ENGINEER, shall be included in <br />37 the associated traffic signal bid item. <br />38 <br />39 If junction box adjustment involves conduit modification, as determined by the ENGINEER, <br />40 payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-09.6. <br />41 <br />42 All costs associated with the installation of the electrical service, illumination system, and <br />43 associated hardware shall be included in the associated lump sum bid item for traffic signal <br />44 system. <br />45 <br />46 All costs associated with the removal and installation of signs on the traffic signal poles shall <br />47 be included in the associated lump sum bid item for permanent signing. <br />48 <br />49
