Avail operators for demonstrations as needed. <br /> 4. Examine the design and construction documents to become familiar with project <br /> requirements and discover conditions in systems/design that may preclude proper <br /> testing of the systems and equipment to be commissioned. Report deficiencies to <br /> the Cx team for resolution. <br /> 5. Participate in the resolution of non-compliance, non-conformance and design <br /> deficiencies identified during the test phase. <br /> 6. When necessary, observe and witness PFPT and FPT of selected systems. <br /> 7. Schedule and provide qualified operators and maintenance personnel to attend all <br /> training sessions. <br /> 8. Arrange for facility operating and maintenance personnel to attend various field <br /> commissioning activities and training sessions according to the Cx Plan. <br /> 9. Ensure that any seasonal or deferred testing and any deficiency issues are <br /> addressed and all warranty period commissioning activities are facilitated. <br /> C. Contracting Officer Responsibilities <br /> 1. Manage the contract of the A/E and of the GC. <br /> 2. Facilitate the coordination of the commissioning work by the CA, and, with the GC <br /> and CA, ensure that commissioning activities are being scheduled into the master <br /> schedule. <br /> 3. Attend the commissioning kickoff meeting. <br /> 4. Perform pre-operational tests. <br /> 5. Review the preliminary Test plans. <br /> 6. Avail operators for demonstrations as needed. <br /> 7. Issue the necessary changes in construction. <br /> 8. Issue clarifications or interpretations of Design Intent as required. <br /> 9. Consult on and resolve any design related issues/problems that arise during <br /> construction. Act as final authority on all Issue log resolutions. <br /> 10. Approve component test procedures. <br /> 11. Provide the Owners Project Requirements (OPR) to direct the design and <br /> construction teams, and to provide an explanation of the ideas, concepts and <br /> criteria that are most important to the owner, which are required to be tracked <br /> throughout design and construction. <br /> 12. Review and approve the final Commissioning Plan. <br /> 13. Perform the normal review of Contractor submittals. <br /> 14. Examine the design and construction documents to become familiar with project <br /> requirements and discover conditions in systems/design that may preclude proper <br /> testing of the systems and equipment to be commissioned. Report deficiencies to <br /> the Cx team for resolution. <br /> 15. Furnish a copy of all construction documents, addenda, change orders and <br /> approved submittals and shop drawings related to commissioned equipment to <br /> the CA. <br /> 16. Participate in the resolution of non-compliance, non-conformance and design <br /> deficiencies identified during the test phase. <br /> 17.
