Witness installations, pressure testing, flushing, & cleaning. <br /> 19. Verify that each installing contractor is performing installation checks for <br /> commissioned systems. Installation checklists must only be completed by <br /> individuals with direct knowledge of that specific system. Inspection of items <br /> must be performed prior to concealing of installed systems. <br /> 20. Verify proper installation of commissioning checklist items and that items are <br /> documented as such within each installing contractor's installation checklists. <br /> 21. Compile, review, and submit contractor-provided installation inspection reports, <br /> pipe pressure test reports, and flushing reports. <br /> 22. Furnish copy of all material/information required by CA including those provide <br /> by Contractor for forwarding to the CA. <br /> 23. Verify correction of all areas that are deficient or incomplete in a timely manner. <br /> 24. Provide all project preparation, setup, and support during execution of testing, <br /> including but not limited to: <br /> a) Provide site access and badging. <br /> b) Removing ceiling tiles. <br /> c) Opening access doors. <br /> d) Opening interior doors. <br /> e) Additional support as coordinated in commissioning meetings. <br /> 25. Upon completion of inspection, testing, or similar services, repair damaged <br /> construction and restore substrates and finishes, protect construction exposed by <br /> or for quality control activities, and protect repaired construction. <br /> 26. Manage resolution of contractual issues generated as a result of commissioning. <br /> Issue information requests (RFI), change orders, work directives etc. as required <br /> to resolve these issues. Contractual issues are those to which the contractor <br /> disputes responsibility, which result in a change of contract price or schedule, or <br /> which need design modifications to accommodate. These are processed <br /> through the primary construction management protocols. <br /> 27. Coordinate the training of owner personnel. <br /> 28. Prepare O&M manuals, according to the contract documents, including clarifying <br /> and updating the original sequences of operation to as-built conditions. <br /> 29. Ensure that Contractors execute deferred functional performance testing, <br /> witnessed by the CA, as applicable and according to specifications. <br /> 30. Ensure that Contractors correct deficiencies and make necessary adjustments to <br /> O&M manuals and as-built drawings for applicable issues identified in any <br /> seasonal testing. <br /> F. Electrical Contractor (EC) <br /> 1. Complete the installation of permanent electrical power systems serving the <br /> building systems. Such electrical systems shall be properly installed in <br /> accordance with all applicable codes to ensure the safety of all construction <br /> personnel. <br /> 2. Provide power to equipment per contract requirements, and provide power as <br /> needed for all tests. <br /> 3. Schedule all subcontractors and vendors for startup, third party testing, and <br /> commissioning activities.
