Operate the equipment and system as required for Functional Performance <br /> Testing <br /> 22. Participate in the fine-tuning or troubleshooting of the system performance. <br /> 23. Participate in the resolution of non-compliance, non-conformance and design <br /> deficiencies identified during Pre-Functional Performance Testing. <br /> 24. Provide complete operation and maintenance information and `As-Built" drawings <br /> to the general contractor and CA for verification, organization and distribution. <br /> 25. Operate their equipment and system as required for performing the phase <br /> testing. <br /> 26. Provide training scope for the systems specified. <br /> 27. Participate in the systems level training program for the operators <br /> 28. Provide support during the commissioning process. <br /> G. Fire Alarm and Suppression Contractor (FC) <br /> 1. Complete the installation of permanent fire alarm systems serving the building <br /> systems. Such fire alarm and suppression systems shall be properly installed in <br /> accordance with all applicable codes to ensure the safety of all construction <br /> personnel. <br /> 2. Provide submittals as specified in specifications. Revise as necessary per Cx <br /> team review comments. <br /> 3. Provide fire alarm and suppression connections to equipment per contract <br /> requirements, and provide services as needed for all tests. <br /> 4. Schedule all subcontractors and vendors for startup, third party testing, and <br /> commissioning activities. Notify the CA depending on protocol, when system <br /> startup, testing, and completion of each piece of equipment will occur. <br /> 5. Provide dates when authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) testing will be conducted. <br /> 6. Provide submittals of shop drawings as specified. Include complete detailed <br /> sequences of operation for each piece of equipment, regardless of the <br /> completeness and clarity of the sequences in the specifications. <br /> 7. Review design for provision of fire alarm and suppression connections to the all <br /> building systems, including systems to be commissioned. <br /> 8. Review CA-provided blank pre-functional performance tests (PFPTs) and <br /> functional performance tests (FPTs) for accuracy and conformance to installed <br /> and programmed electrical systems. Provide review comments for the CA to <br /> update PFPTs and FPTs as necessary for accurate test forms. <br /> 9. Provide factory recommended field test procedures to the Contractor per each <br /> piece of equipment. <br /> 10. Perform start-up and testing of fire alarm and suppression equipment and <br /> systems. Verify the completion of all start-up activities and document as required <br /> with start-up reports and applicable documentation as required to confirm <br /> completion of systems readiness for start of commissioning activities. <br /> 11. Provide factory testing reports to Contractor before start-up of equipment. <br /> 12. Provide typical installation inspections and adequate access, to be completed by <br /> the fire alarm and suppression contractor, including but not limited to following: <br /> a) Installation of fire alarm and suppression equipment, and devices. <br /> b) Installation of all controllers and panels. <br /> c) Installation of all cable and conduit systems, control panels, sensors, and <br /> devices. <br /> Clare's Place Ventilation Revision <br /> AtNeudorfer Engineers, LLC.
