and maintaining all property rights necessary for Grantor's service line(s). The Grantor is <br />solely responsible at Grantors cost for operating and maintaining all service line(s) up to <br />the water meter connection. <br />C. Backflow Prevention Device. Grantor must install at Grantors cost <br />a backflow prevention device acceptable to the City at a location acceptable to the City. <br />The Grantor is solely responsible for operating and maintaining the backflow device at <br />Grantors cost. <br />d. Permits. The Grantor is responsible to obtain at Grantors cost all <br />permits from all regulating agencies for any installation done by the Grantor or Grantors <br />contractor. <br />e. Availability of Other Service. When the Property is within the <br />service area of another Class A water purveyor (such as the Snohomish County PUD or a <br />water district) and the purveyor has an active water main available for connection that <br />fronts any part of the Property, then the Grantor must permanently disconnect from the <br />transmission line and connect to the purveyors water main. This must occur with 180 <br />days after the purveyor active water main becomes available for connection or such <br />longer time as the Public Works Director allows in writing. After such time, the City may <br />permanently disconnect the Property and remove the Replacement Transmission Line <br />Connection. <br />f. No Use Expansion. The Replacement Transmission Line Connection <br />may only be used for provision of water for household purposes to (1) the house on <br />Parcel 1 as it exists on the date of recording of this Covenant and (2) the house on Parcel <br />2 as R exists on the date of recording of this Covenant (such houses, the "Existing <br />Houses"). This means, for example, that: <br />I. use of water from the Replacement Transmission Line <br />Connection for commercial, industrial, irrigation, agricultural or livestock or any other <br />non -household use is prohibited; and <br />H. connection of a service line carrying water from the <br />Replacement Transmission Una Connection to any house or other structure other than <br />the Existing Houses is prohibited: and <br />III. if additional houses or other structures are built on the <br />Property (whether by subdivision or otherwise), those houses and structures are <br />Prohibited from receiving water from the Replacement Transmission Line Connection and <br />are prohibited from any direct or indirect connection to the Replacement Transmission <br />Line Connection. <br />The City may inspect any and all service lines and associated facilities on the Property that <br />carry water from the Replacement Connection to verify compliance with this subsection <br />1(f), and the Grantor hereby grants the City an access easement for such purpose.
