Vibration Monitoring ➢ City will conduct at the City's cost vibration monitoring related to <br /> the Owner's house. The monitoring will be undertaken as <br /> described in the attached Exhibit A. The monitoring will be done <br /> by an engineer of the City's choice, with such choice subject to <br /> Owner's pre-approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld. <br /> ➢ Unless the City determines to monitor for a longer period of time, <br /> this monitoring will start on the date that the City commences <br /> onsite Project work and will end when the City completes heavy <br /> Project construction. <br /> Electric Meter During the Project, PUD service will be converted from overhead to <br /> Connection underground. Owner's electric service meter will require a <br /> connection conversion from overhead to underground when this <br /> transition occurs. <br /> ➢ City will either perform work or pay for work needed to connect <br /> Owner's meter to the new underground service. <br /> ➢ City work to include, permit for work to connect to underground <br /> service, installation of underground conduit leading up to meter, <br /> and coordination with PUD to make final connection. <br /> ➢ PUD to perform work at meter to connect to underground power <br /> and terminate overhead connection. PUD will invoice City directly <br /> for its work. <br /> ➢ City will pay $9,500 to Owner for any other out-of-pocket costs <br /> for repairs, replacement materials, restoration or other <br /> professional services needed due to the meter connection <br /> conversion. Payment due to Owner from City within 30 days after <br /> full execution of this Agreement. <br /> Legal Services City will pay up to $10,000 to Owner for reimbursement of Owner's <br /> legal fees related to the temporary easement and its valuation. <br /> Payment due to Owner from City within 30 days after full execution <br /> of this Agreement. <br /> Internet/Cable City will reimburse Owner for connection fees, if any, associated with <br /> Connection installation of internet and/or cable. <br /> Additional Costs City will pay$4,000 to owner for repairs and replacement costs <br /> related to relocation of the electric meter, including, but not limited <br /> to roofing, window trim and siding. <br /> 3. SHARING OF DATA AND REPORTS. The City will provide Owner copies of all data, <br /> surveys and reports related to the foundation survey and vibration monitoring. The City will <br /> provide these copies to Owner as they are received by City from surveyors and engineers. City <br /> will arrange for the surveyors or engineers providing surveying and vibration monitoring <br /> ("Consultants") to provide brief narratives to explain the meaning of data that varies from the <br /> baseline. Owner's follow-up questions will be relayed to Consultants, with answers provided to <br /> Owner. <br /> 2 <br />
