<br />ARTICLE 10 CHANGES IN THE WORK <br />10.1 Changes to Contract Documents <br />Non-Job Order Specific Contract Documents. <br />Modification of the following Contract Documents after the effective date of the Contract requires a <br />Contract amendment signed by an authorized representative of the Contractor and an authorized <br />representative of the City: Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, RFP and <br />addenda thereto, Contractor’s Proposal, and the Construction Task Catalog®. <br />Job-Order Specific Contract Documents. <br />Modification of the following Contract Documents and requirements after the effective date of the <br />Contract are to be signed by the Contract Administrator and the Project Manager: all Job Orders <br />and Job-Order specific documents, including but not limited to, the Detailed Scope of Work, Job <br />Order Completion Time, Request for Proposal, Price Proposal, Job Order Proposal, Notice to <br />Proceed, submittals, record documents, and all required close-out documentation and warranties. <br />Any modification that increases/decreases the Job Order Price must be signed by the Contract <br />Administrator. <br />10.2 Change Order and Supplemental Job Order <br />Changes to the Contract may be accomplished after execution of the Contract and without <br />invalidating the Contract. <br />The City, without invalidating the Job Order, may order changes in the Work by altering, adding to or <br />deducting from the Work, by issuing a Supplemental Job Order. <br />Credits for Prepriced and Non-Prepriced Tasks shall be calculated at the pre-set Unit Prices and <br />multiplied by the appropriate Adjustment Factors. The result is that a credit for Tasks that have been <br />deleted from the Detailed Scope of Work will be given at 100% of the value at which they were <br />included in the original Price Proposal. <br />All such Work shall be executed under the applicable conditions of the Contract Documents. <br />Project Manager may authorize minor changes that do not change the Job Order price, in the Work <br />which are consistent with the overall intent of the Detailed Scope of Work. These may be <br />accomplished by a Field Order and shall be binding on City, and also on Contractor who shall perform <br />the change promptly. <br />Additional Work performed without authorization of a Supplemental Job Order will not entitle <br />Contractor to an increase in the Job Order Price or an extension of the Job Order Completion Time. <br />Contractor may request a Supplemental Job Order to reflect modifications to the Work resulting <br />from unforeseen site conditions. If Project Manager determines that such unforeseen site <br />conditions require a modification of the Work, Project Manager will prepare a Supplemental Job <br />Order for execution by the Contract Administrator incorporating such modifications as necessary to <br />proceed with and complete the Work. The Contractor shall be responsible for reallocation of its work <br />force when work cannot be continued in an area due to unforeseen conditions. In no event will the
