CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />3rd Ave Water Quality Facility Division B – BID DESCRIPTIONS September 20, 2024 <br />WO No. – UP 3775 SP - 24 <br /> <br /> <br /> Cement Concrete Traffic Curb and Gutter <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) <br />Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the <br />Inspector prior to removal. <br />The unit price per linear foot for restoration of concrete curbs or curb and gutter and shall be <br />full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the <br />Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and <br />these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal. <br /> Cement Concrete Sidewalk <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY) <br />Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the <br />Inspector prior to removal. <br />The unit price per square yard for restoration of existing concrete sidewalks shall be full <br />compensation for final sawcut and all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to <br />complete the work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard <br />Specifications and these Special Provisions. <br /> Cement Conc. Curb Ramp, Type D <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) <br />The unit Contract price per each for “Cement Conc. Curb Ramp Type D_” shall be full <br />compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work <br />in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these <br />Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal, and <br />including the “Detectable Warning Surface.” <br /> Gravity Block Wall <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Feet (SF) <br />Measurement shall be per square foot of completed wall in place as delineated by the <br />Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to backfill. The vertical limits for measurement <br />are from the bottom of the bottom layer of blocks to the top of the top layer of blocks. The <br />horizontal limit for measurement is the perimeter of the interior face of the wall. <br /> <br />The unit price shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment <br />necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, <br />Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. The unit price includes, but is not <br />limited to, dewatering, fabrication, installation, backfill and compaction, and storm drains <br />connections with concrete collar. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
