R-21 is required in exterior <br /> walls and R-30 is required in the floor. Show how you will meet the requirements of the 2015 <br /> Energy Code on the plans and section drawings. <br /> Response: Area of garage was modified and kept as unheated space. Note clouded <br /> on sheet A04. <br /> 2. Provide R-10 rigid insulation at headers. Show on section drawings. <br /> Response: The header insulation has been shown on section A-A-sheet A-11. <br /> The header insulation detail was provided on sheet 11/AD 1 already. The detail <br /> references posted on section and plans. <br /> 3. Provide insulation baffle over insulation at exterior walls. The baffle shall extended 6 inches <br /> vertically above batt insulation and 12 inches vertically above loose fill insulation. Show <br /> requirement on plans. Maintain minimum 1 inch dear air space over the insulation. <br /> Response: The baffle line have been shown on the section A A-sheet Al 1. <br /> Detail 9/AD 1 provides for roof where was shown baffle over insulation. <br /> Detail references posted on plans and section. <br /> 4. The specific requirements for the Energy Credits from Table 406.2 WSEC shall be shown on <br /> the plans. Do not simply reference the option chosen. <br /> Response: The credit points choices have been revised. The existing duct system <br /> will- extended to the addition for heating the area. We need 1.5credits- as for <br /> additions to existing building that are greater than 500 sqF, but less than 1500 sqF <br /> The note posted on the sheet A07- main floor plan. The note added on sheet A07- <br /> main floor plan. The name of water heater added . <br /> 5. Stair shall comply with section R311 for width and headroom.
