RXK Series Scissor Lift Racks
Drive the selected vehicle onto the rack and then raise the lift to the normal alignment height. Set the runways onto the
locks approximately 30 inches (762 mm) off the ground.Verify that both runways are resting firmly on the same lock
positions. Make final adjustments to level the rack raised 30 inches as follows: Using a transit (most laser type levels do
not have the resolution required), adjust the leveling bolts to make the turnplate and slip-plate areas are all the same height,
within 1 mm (.04 inch). If the base needs elevated, slightly loosen anchors as needed to allow leveling bolts to raise base
from floor. Using a bubble level, check each runway for side-to-side level.
When level within 1 mm (.04 inch),tighten the anchoring bolts. Raise the runways using procedures noted earlier and set
the runways on the locks near the lifts full stroke and repeat leveling procedure. Lower the rack to the ground. Leave the
vehicle on the rack. Using a transit, adjust the bolts located on the leveling kit at the extreme edge of each leg so all points
are the same height within 1 mm (.04 inch). Record the measurement for the rack on the ground on the chart below. (The
numbers on this chart will be used later.) Snug all of the anchor nuts against the base frames and tighten all of the jam
nuts. Once the lowered rack is level within 1 mm (.04 inch),remove the vehicle from rack.
Table 3. Grout under Base Frames
Use low pressure air to clean the gap between the base frames and the floor. Mix the grout per the instructions on the
package. Grout under each base frame by filling the gap between the frame and the floor in the locations shown below.
Grout under the front pivots, rear angles, and under the slider tracks from the rear angle to the leveling bolts.
si NOTE
To prevent liquids from collecting in the base frame area, create a small drainage channel in grout along the
rear angle of base frames.
(1 NOTE
L 45 degree chamfer may interfere with threshold placement and base frame channels.
Ensure there is full contact between grout and the bottom surface of the frames. Considering the base frame hose
channels and threshold placement, finish grout at the edges with a 45 degree chamfer where possible.
Page 4 ofR.0
