Commissioning Plan Page 9 <br /> f) Notification of Completion Milestones— Contractor shall notify GC/CM at <br /> least two weeks prior to an anticipated completion milestone (such as start <br /> up and TAB completed and ready for FPT). The commissioning team shall <br /> then coordinate the tests between all required parties. <br /> g) Action List: CA maintains a categorized Action List which tracks the Cx <br /> related action items. CA distributes these at their judgment or at the <br /> request of any party. <br /> D. Test Equipment <br /> 1. All standard testing equipment required to perform startup and initial checkout <br /> and required functional performance testing shall be provided by the Contractor <br /> for the equipment being tested. <br /> 2. Special equipment, tools and instruments (only available from vendor, specific to <br /> a piece of equipment) required for testing equipment, according to the contract <br /> documents, shall be included in the Contractor's contract price. <br /> 3. All testing equipment shall be of sufficient quality and accuracy to test and/or <br /> measure system performance with the tolerances specified in the Specifications. <br /> 4. If the specification does not specify test instrument accuracy, provide industry <br /> standard test equipment required for performing the tests specified herein, as <br /> approved by the CA. <br /> 5. All equipment shall be calibrated annually and calibrated according to the <br /> manufacturer's recommended intervals and when dropped or damaged. <br /> Calibration tags shall be affixed or certificates readily available. <br /> 6. Test instrumentation shall meet the following standards: <br /> a) Be of sufficient quality and accuracy to test and measure system <br /> performance within the tolerances required to determine adequate <br /> performance. <br /> b) Be calibrated on the manufacturer's recommended intervals with calibration <br /> tags permanently affixed to the instrument being used. <br /> c) Be maintained in good repair and operating condition throughout the <br /> duration of use on this project. <br /> d) Be recalibrated/repaired if dropped or damaged in any way since last <br /> calibrated. <br /> E. Meetings <br /> 1. Kickoff Commissioning Meeting: The CA will schedule and lead a commissioning <br /> kickoff meeting with the entire commissioning team in attendance. The CA will <br /> distribute the meeting agenda to all parties prior to the meeting. Information <br /> gathered from this meeting will allow the CA to update the commissioning plan, <br /> PFPTs, and FPTs. <br /> 2. Progress Commissioning Meetings: The CA will schedule and lead progress <br /> meetings as deemed necessary by the CA as construction progresses during the <br /> commissioning phase. These meetings will cover coordination, deficiency <br /> resolution and planning issues with Cx team members. The GC shall assure <br /> attendance of the appropriate subcontractors at the meetings. <br /> 3. Plan and coordinate meetings as required to monitor construction and <br /> commissioning progress the work. Notify the Owner of construction job-site <br /> meetings to address coordination, deficiency resolution and planning issues.
