December 18, 2024 <br />2 <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br />CHIP Loan Review Committee <br />•Cathy Haage, Pos #A-1 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />•Sharon Hale, Pos #A-2 – term expiring 12/31/2028 <br />Library Board of Directors <br />•Audrey Gray, Pos #5 – term expiring 12/31/2029 <br />Board of Park Commissioners <br />•Erin Knight, Pos #7 – term expiring 12/31/2030 <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The Council received twenty-two (22) written comments and the following members of the public <br />spoke: Amy Hieb, Fred Safstrom, Leo Lorge, Tanyus, Austin (no last name provided), Steve Oss, <br />Rhys Stenhouse, Corlonda Byrd and Michelle Pendergrass. <br />COUNCIL <br />Several council members thanked the public commentors and the new board appointment <br />members and congratulated staff on the Water Filtration Plant Award, and the new police <br />officer. <br />Council Member Bader attended the Library Board meeting. <br />Council Member Rhyne provided comments on Hope & Wellness, cold weather and <br />daytime shelters, and attended the Boards and Commissions Volunteer Appreciation event <br />hosted by the City. <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Volunteer Appreciation event hosted by the City, <br />Snohomish County Regional Justice and Transportation Policy Board, and congratulated the <br />new Everett Fire Department’s nine (9) graduates.
