<br />Fulton Street Pedestrian Bicycle Corridor PAGE 13 OF 114 CONTRACT <br />FEDERAL AID # TAP-0420(026) <br />WO #3785 September 6, 2024 <br /> <br />Delete the first paragraph and replace it with the following: 1 <br /> 2 <br />Payments or credits for changes amounting to $$$25,000$$ or less may be made under 3 <br />the Bid item “Minor Change”. At the discretion of the Contracting Agency, this procedure 4 <br />for Minor Changes may be used in lieu of the more formal procedure as outlined in Section 5 <br />1-04.4, Changes. All “Minor Change” work will be within the scope of the Contract Work 6 <br />and will not change Contract Time. 7 <br /> 8 <br />1-05.4.GR1 9 <br />Conformity with and Deviations from Plans and Stakes 10 <br /> 11 <br />1-05.4.INST1.GR1 12 <br />Section 1-05.4 is supplemented with the following: 13 <br /> 14 <br />1-05.4.OPT4.GR1 15 <br />(March 9, 2023) 16 <br />Contractor Surveying – ADA Features 17 <br />ADA Feature Staking Requirements 18 <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for setting, maintaining, and resetting all 19 <br />alignment stakes, and grades necessary for the construction of the ADA features. 20 <br />Calculations, surveying, and measuring required for setting and maintaining the 21 <br />necessary lines and grades shall be the Contractor's responsibility. The Contractor 22 <br />shall build the ADA features within the specifications in the Standard Plans and 23 <br />contract documents. 24 <br /> 25 <br />ADA Feature Contract Compliance 26 <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for completing measurements to verify all ADA 27 <br />features comply with the Contract in the presence of the Engineer. 28 <br /> 29 <br />ADA Feature As-Built Measurements 30 <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the latitude and longitude of each 31 <br />ADA feature as indicated on the ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224 -020). 32 <br /> 33 <br />The completed ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224 -020) shall be submitted 34 <br />as a Type 3 Working Drawing and transmitted to the Engineer within 30 calendar 35 <br />days of completing the ADA feature. After acceptance, the Contracting Agency will 36 <br />submit the final form(s) to the WSDOT ADA Steward. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br />Payment 40 <br />Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: 41 <br /> 42 <br />"ADA Features Surveying", lump sum. 43 <br /> 44 <br />The lump sum Contract price for "ADA Features Surveying" shall be full pay for all the 45 <br />Work as specified. 46 <br /> 47 <br />In the instance where an ADA feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all work 48 <br />to replace non-compliant work and then to measure, record the as -built measurements, 49 <br />and transmit the electronic forms to the Engineer shall be completed at no additional cost 50 <br />to the Contracting Agency. 51 <br /> 52
