Fulton Street Pedestrian Bicycle Corridor PAGE 17 OF 114 CONTRACT FEDERAL AID # TAP-0420(026) WO #3785 September 6, 2024 Revise the second paragraph to read: 1 2 All correspondence from the Contractor shall be served and directed to the Engineer. 3 All correspondence from the Contractor constituting any notification, notice of protest, 4 notice of dispute, or other correspondence constituting notification required to be 5 furnished under the Contract, must be written in paper format, hand delivered or sent 6 via certified mail delivery service with return receipt requested to the Engineer's 7 office. Electronic copies such as e-mails or electronically delivered copies of 8 correspondence will not constitute such notice and will not comply with the 9 requirements of the Contract. 10 11 1-05.16.RTF 12 Add the following new section: 13 14 1-05.16 Water and Power 15 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) 16 17 The Contractor shall make necessary arrangements, and shall bear the costs for power 18 and water necessary for the performance of the work, unless the contract includes power 19 and water as a pay item. 20 21 1-05.18.RTF 22 Add the following new section: 23 24 1-05.18 Record Drawings 25 (March 8, 2013 APWA GSP) 26 27 The Contractor shall maintain one set of full size plans for Record Drawings, updated 28 with clear and accurate red-lined field revisions on a daily basis, and within 2 business 29 days after receipt of information that a change in Work has occurred. The Contractor 30 shall not conceal any work until the required information is recorded. 31 32 This Record Drawing set shall be used for this purpose alone, shall be kept separate 33 from other Plan sheets, and shall be clearly marked as Record Drawings. These Record 34 Drawings shall be kept on site at the Contractor’s field office, and shall be available for 35 review by the Contracting Agency at all times. The Contractor shall bring the Record 36 Drawings to each progress meeting for review. 37 38 The preparation and upkeep of the Record Drawings is to be the assigned responsibility 39 of a single, experienced, and qualified individual. The quality of the Record Drawings, in 40 terms of accuracy, clarity, and completeness, is to be adequate to allow the Contracting 41 Agency to modify the computer-aided drafting (CAD) Contract Drawings to produce a 42 complete set of Record Drawings for the Contracting Agency without further investigative 43 effort by the Contracting Agency. 44 45 The Record Drawing markups shall document all changes in the Work, both concealed 46 and visible. Items that must be shown on the markups include but are not limited to: 47 48 • Actual dimensions, arrangement, and materials used when different than shown in 49 the Plans. 50 • Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. 51 • Changes made by the Contractor. 52
