Installation <br /> qualified installers only) 15 <br /> Approved Vent Configurations <br /> Exhaust Restrictor Position <br /> • An exhaust restrictor is built into the appliance to control the flow rate of exhaust gases. This <br /> ensures proper flames for the wide variety of vent configurations. Depending upon the vent <br /> configuration, you may be required to adjust the restrictor position. The charts for approved vent <br /> configurations describe which position the vent restrictor should be in. <br /> NOTE: If the vent configuration calls for restrictor removal, replace the screws into the holes <br /> in the firebox ceiling to seal the firebox. <br /> F/febc, <br /> Roof <br /> Bask wa//ofF/rebox Loosen these two screws <br /> on the exhaust restrictor. <br /> Slide the restrictor to the correct <br /> restrictor position(see the illustration <br /> below). The screw location indicates <br /> restrictor position.In this example,the <br /> restrictor is set in position#3.
