From: Abiy Tsegaye
Sent: Monday, November 15, 2021 11:54 AM
To: JABEDLE@MSN.COM; DOUG.ALMOND@NUTTYCAD.COM
Subject: B2101-029 2217 GRAND AVE
Good morning,
The drainage report for 2217 Grand Ave, Bedle Detached Garage Project requires the following
corrections :
• Attach detailed WWHM model report, showing model inputs and outputs, to the drainage
report, demonstrating that the splash blocks provide adequate flow control. Represent the
splash blocks in the runoff model in accordance with BMP T5.1013 of the 2019 Stormwater
Management Manual of Western Washington. Alternatively, a City of Everett Public Works
"Small Project Stormwater Site Plan/Report for Projects in the Combined Sewer Area"form (Site
development I Everett, WA-Official Website (everettwa.gov) 4 Checklists & Handouts) may be
completed and used for flow control sizing. Note that in the "Small Project Stormwater Site
Plan/Report for Projects in the Combined Sewer Area"form, a maximum of 350 SF of roof area
can be discharged to each splash block.
• Ensure that downspouts discharge away from any foundation drains and that the flow paths of
the downspout/splash blocks do not overlap, per the design criteria listed for splash blocks per
BMP T5.1013 of the 2019 Stormwater Management Manual of Western Washington.
Please email me a downloadable link to resubmit electronically following the corrections when you are
ready.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
— Abiy Tsegaye
Associate Engineer I Permit Services
425.257.8810 1 3200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT Phone Hours: M/W/Th: 8 a.m.—12 p.m & 1 p.m.—3 p.m.
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant
to the Public Records Act.
