G. Provide cover board, thermal insulation, flashings, and accessories for a complete roofing <br /> system that is warrantable by the manufacturer and meets the design criteria. <br /> 2.03 FLASHINGS &ACCESSORIES: <br /> A. Inside/Outside Corners: Pre-molded corner flashing, 60 mil thickness. Color to match the <br /> flashing membrane. <br /> B. Pipe Flashings: Pre-molded flashing supplied by the manufacturer and stainless steel worm <br /> gear clamp with sealants to flash round pipe penetrations less than 5" diameter. Field wrap <br /> flashings in accordance with manufacturer's specifications may be used on pipe penetrations <br /> greater than 5" in diameter. <br /> C. Pre-manufactured 2-piece sealer pockets will not be permitted on this project without prior <br /> written approval. <br /> D. One or two-component liquid flashing system allowable by the manufacturer for irregular pipe <br /> penetrations in lieu of pourable sealant pockets. <br /> E. Where applicable, polymer-clad metal flashings shall be heat weldable formed to desired <br /> shapes and profiles. Shall be a minimum 25 gauge, G90 galvanized metal with a 20 mil <br /> unsupported polymer membrane laminated on one side. <br /> F. Traffic Walkways: Shall be reinforced sheet membrane with slip resistant surface and smooth <br /> edges for heat welding as supplied by the manufacturer. <br /> G. Include other manufacturer's supplied accessories including, but not limited to, standard non- <br /> reinforced sheet flashings, deck fasteners, sealants, primers, bonding adhesive, battens, <br /> anchor bars, termination bars, fasteners, seam tape, and related items for the system specified. <br /> H. Yellow safety warning lines, heat weldable or self-adhering, 6"wide. <br /> 2.04 (ALTERNATE 2) RIGID INSULATION: <br /> A. Polyisocyanurate: <br /> 1. Top Layer: Rigid board with a foam core laminated to a fire rated coated inorganic <br /> fiberglass mat facer with a minimum compressive strength of 25 PSI. Provide in thickness <br /> indicated. Meets the requirements of ASTM C1289, Type ll, Class 2, Grade 3. <br /> 2. Bottom Layer(s): Rigid board with a foam core laminated to a [un]coated fiberglass <br /> reinforced inorganic glass mat facer with a minimum compressive strength of 20 psi. <br /> Provide in thickness indicated. Comply with ASTM C 1289-01, Type II , Class 2 Grade 2. <br /> 3. Total system value: Refer to project drawings. <br /> B. Tapered Edge Strips: Shall be supplied by an Authorized Tapered Insulation Fabricator <br /> approved by the manufacturer using the same facer as the base layers(s) of roof insulation. <br /> C. Tapered Insulation/cricket system: Polyisocyanurate insulation cricket with an effective positive <br /> slope of 1/2 inch per foot. Shall be supplied by an Authorized Tapered Insulation Fabricator <br /> approved by the manufacturer using the same facer as the base layers(s)of roof insulation. <br /> 2.05 COVER BOARDS: <br /> A. Polyisocyanurate: Rigid board with a high density foam core and an inorganic coated glass <br /> facer with a minimum compressive strength of 100 psi. Provide minimum thickness of 1/2". <br /> Comply with ASTM C 1289-01, Type II, Class 4, Grade 2. <br /> 2.06 INSULATION ADHESIVE (FOR TAPERED UNITS ONLY): <br /> A. Low-rise spray-applied single-component polyurethane foam adhesive. Acceptable products <br /> shall be INSTA-STIK(tm) as manufactured by Insta-Foam Products, Inc., a division of Flexible <br /> Products Company, 1500 Cedarwood Dr., Joliet, IL 60435-3187.
