February 19, 2025 <br />2 <br /> <br />The Council received one (1) written comments and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Mark Hawkins and Michelle Pendergrass <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Several council members thanked the public commentors and congratulated the new Everett <br />police officers. <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo attended the Snohomish County Regional Law and Justice Council, the <br />Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation Policy Board, and the Everett Chamber of <br />Commerce “Everett Rising” event. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader attended the Public Library Board of Trustees meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne attended a Hope N Wellness group meeting, the Volunteers of America <br />Western Washington Rise & Shine Breakfast, the Lowell Neighborhood Association meeting, and <br />stated the Everett Farmer’s Market is having their “Get Ready Market” on Sunday, February 23rd <br />starting at 10:30 a.m. <br /> <br />President Schwab stated he and Jennifer Gregerson would be getting out the budget calendars <br />for council soon. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8138 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of
