KAISER PERMANENTE <br />ASC & Clinic (HUB) <br />Everett, WA <br />Site Prep #1 Electrical Service <br />March 18, 2020 <br />Proiect No. 19.05002.00 <br />This service technician shall have the capability of remotely communicating with the <br />system for troubleshooting and program alterations. <br />C. Provide inspection for opposite season to test, calibrate, and adjust controls. Submit <br />written report for each inspection. <br />1.8 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Store equipment and materials inside and protected from weather. <br />B. Factory Mounted Controls: Where Factory -Mounted Controls are indicated to be factory <br />mounted on equipment, arrange for shipping, packing and labeling of control devices to <br />the equipment manufacturer. Installation requirements, wiring schematics shall be <br />furnished and coordinated directly with respective unit manufacturer. Unless otherwise <br />indicated, all cost associated with factory -mounted controls and wiring shall be included <br />under this section. <br />1.9 EXTRA MATERIALS <br />A. Furnish spare materials described below that match products installed, are packaged <br />with protective covering for storage, and are identified with labels clearly describing <br />contents. Spare materials used during warranty shall be replaced. <br />B. Spare Parts: As a minimum, provide the following spare parts: <br />1. Space Temperature Sensors with covers: 5 percent of the installed system or <br />minimum quantity of 3. <br />2. Duct and Pipe Temperature Sensors: 5 percent of the installed system or <br />minimum quantity of 2 of each type. <br />3. Terminal Unit Actuators (Damper and Valve): 5-percent of the installed system or <br />minimum quantity of 2 of each type. <br />4. DDC Controller Power Supplies: Minimum quantity of 1 of each type. <br />5. DDC Controller 1/0 Boards: Minimum quantity of 1 of each type. <br />6. Replacement Materials: Provide one replacement diaphragm or relay <br />mechanism for each unique pneumatic damper motor, valve motor, controller, <br />thermostat, and positioning relay. <br />7. Binary Water Detector: Minimum quantity of 1 of each type. <br />PART2-PRODUCTS <br />2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br />A. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by one of the <br />following: <br />Approved Manufacturers: <br />a. Alerton / ATS Automation. <br />b. Johnson Controls / Johnson Controls, Inc. (By Manufacturer's Local <br />Branch Office) <br />C. Siemens / Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. <br />2. Manufacturers Qualifications: A minimum of 5 (equivalent size and complexity of <br />this project) operational systems within the last 5 years utilizing similar <br />components located in the same State or within 100 miles of project site. <br />Manufacturer or authorized manufacturer's on -site service support shall also be <br />available within the same location parameters indicated. <br />INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS FOR HVAC 23 09 00 - 4 <br />
