Where applicable, all seismic construction, restraints, bracing, mounts and hanging <br />systems shall be in full compliance with the requirements of all Authorities Having <br />Jurisdiction (AHJ's), pre -approval, certification and engineering (including certified <br />engineering calculations and stamps). Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining <br />and complying with all requirements of the AHJ. <br />C. All electrical utility work including all work associated with the transformer vault shall be <br />coordinated with and performed in accordance with SNOPUD standards. <br />D. All work shall be installed in accordance with Kaiser Permanente design standards. Where <br />contract documents conflict with standards, contractor shall identify conflict prior to <br />installation of work. <br />1.5 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Reference Division 01 for submittal requirements. <br />B. Submittal Schedule: Provide a detailed submittal schedule including all requirements of <br />this Division and its subdivisions to the Architect and Engineer within thirty days of contract <br />award. <br />1. Contractor shall submit for the Engineer's approval a Submittal Schedule for the <br />performance of the work that is consistent with the requirements of the project <br />schedule. The Submittal Schedule shall allow reasonable time for the Architect and <br />other consultants review as specified in Division 01 Submittal Procedures. If the <br />time for Architects/Engineers review is not otherwise specified, the review period <br />(from date of receipt) shall be fifteen business days. Once approved by the <br />Architect/Engineer, submittal dates and time limits established by the Submittal <br />Schedule shall not, except for reasonable cause, be changed or exceeded by the <br />Contractor. <br />2. For each submittal required by the Contract Documents the schedule shall include: <br />specification section number, subsection/paragraph identification number, item <br />description (as stated in the applicable specification section, subsection or other <br />Contract Document) and the scheduled delivery date to the Architect/Engineer. <br />3. Contractor shall be responsible to the Architect/Engineer and/or Owner for all <br />costs, expenses and impact to the project schedule resulting from any deviation to <br />the approved Submittal Schedule, including but not limited to; payment for required <br />overtime, out -of -house resources/consultants or other higher cost resources of the <br />Architect/Engineer as may be required to perform out of sequence, stacked, <br />critical, delayed, unscheduled or multiple reviews of required submittals <br />necessitated by rejection of a prior submittal, (cumulatively and hereinafter, <br />"Additional Review Costs")- <br />C. General: <br />Review is for general conformance with the Contract Documents and is not <br />intended to otherwise approve or verify dimensions, quantities, or to coordinate the <br />Work shown on shop drawings on or between Contractor and the work of other <br />trades or Sections. Contractor is solely responsible for quantities, dimensions, <br />means and methods. Dimensions shall be confirmed and correlated by Contractor <br />at the jobsite prior to the start of the Work (procurement, fabrication, construction <br />or other commencement activities). Contractor's failure to fully verify conditions at <br />the jobsite prior to commencement of the work shall not relieve Contractor of its <br />obligations under the Contract Documents and Contractor shall be responsible for <br />BASIC ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS 2601 00 - 3 <br />
