Submittal review shall be performed to show compliance with the design intent. <br />Contractor shall specifically note any deviations from the Contract Documents and <br />explain the reason and nature of the deviation. Such deviations will be reviewed <br />or rejected on the submittal. Deviations not so identified shall not relieve the <br />Contractor from the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br />3. Resubmittals will be reviewed for compliance with comment(s) made on the <br />original submittal only. Architect/Engineer shall not be responsible for changes <br />made upon resubmittal that are not clearly identified (highlighted) and respond <br />directly to the initial rejection. Resubmittals should not be packaged with non - <br />related first time submittals; all resubmittals must be marked with the resubmittal <br />number and date and must otherwise comply with all submittal requirements. <br />4. Submit shop drawings, commissioning plan(s) and checklists, penetration <br />locations, supplemental data, etc., as may be required by the Contract Documents <br />for all materials, equipment and other components of the work included in all <br />Sections of this Division and other provisions of the Contract Documents in <br />accordance with the requirements of this Division and Division 01. <br />5. All submittals must be reviewed by Contractor, and bear Contractors review stamp <br />and signoff for Conformity to the Contract Documents, prior to the submission of <br />any required submittal to Architect/Engineer. Submittals that fail to meet this <br />requirement will be considered incomplete, will not be reviewed by <br />Architect/Engineer and will be returned to Contractor, without review and/or <br />rejected and resubmittal will be required. Contractor shall be solely responsible for <br />any and all Additional Review Costs and/or other project costs or schedule impact. <br />6. Forward all submittals to Architect/Engineer in a coherent, organized fashion, <br />complete and packaged as required herein, Architect/Engineer may reject <br />submittals that fail to comply with this or any other provision of the Contract <br />Documents and Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all Additional <br />Review Costs and/or other project costs or schedule impact. <br />7. Subject to other provisions of the Contract Documents and in the absence of a <br />more stringent requirement, Architect/Engineer will review a submittal not more <br />than two (2) times. Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all Additional <br />Review Costs and/or other project costs or schedule impact. <br />8. Identify each submittal item by reference to Specification Section paragraph in <br />which item is specified, or drawing/detail number, as applicable. In addition, for <br />equipment submittals, include identification numbers appearing on the equipment <br />schedule. <br />9. Identify each item by manufacturer, brand, trade name, number, size, rating, or <br />whatever other data is necessary to properly identify and check materials and <br />equipment. Words "as specified" are not sufficient identification. <br />10. Organize submittals in same sequence as they appear in specification sections, <br />articles or paragraphs. <br />11. All materials and equipment submittals shall have a summary sheet at the front <br />complete with catalog numbers. Where materials or equipment pertain to more <br />than one building, submittals shall clearly indicate at which locations the materials <br />or equipment is to be installed. <br />12. Submittals shall show physical arrangement, construction details, finishes, <br />materials used in fabrications, provisions for piping and/or conduit entrance, <br />access requirements for installation and maintenance, physical size and <br />dimension, electrical characteristics and requirements, foundation/curbs and all <br />permanent and temporary support details as well as all information relating to <br />weight, including but not limited to live and dead weights. <br />BASIC ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS 2601 00 - 4 <br />
