The word "provide," as used in these specifications, means "furnish and install." <br />C. The word "approved," as used in these specifications, means acceptance by the <br />Architect. <br />D. Indicated: The term "indicated" refers to graphic representations, notes, or schedules on <br />the drawings, or other paragraphs or schedules in the specifications, and similar <br />requirements in the Contract Documents. Terms such as "shown," "noted," "scheduled," <br />and "specified" are used to help the reader locate the reference. Location is not limited. <br />E. Codes: Work shall be installed as a minimum in conformity with applicable local <br />ordinances and statutes. Standards and sizes, which exceed preceding requirements, <br />shall be installed as drawn or specified. Nothing in the specifications shall be construed <br />to permit deviation to less than the requirements of governing codes. Contractor is not <br />relieved from furnishing and installing work shown or specified which may be beyond <br />requirements of ordinances, laws, regulations, and codes. <br />B. Codes and Standards: Applicable codes and standards shall include, but not necessarily <br />be limited to: <br />1. Uniform Plumbing Code, by International Association of Plumbing and <br />Mechanical Officials. <br />2. International Mechanical Code, by International Code Council. <br />3.
