CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Division 1 <br />Everett Mall Bus Platform General Requirements December 2024 <br />WO No – MALLSTN/24462 SP-27 <br />Drawings prepared by the Contractor, material supplier, or manufacturer, when <br />necessary or as required by the Contract Documents to detail and illustrate portions of <br />the Work. All types of Working Drawings shall be reviewed by the Engineer before work <br />pursuant to those Working Drawings is performed. Type 3 and 3E Working Drawings <br />may include, and not be limited to, shop details, erection plans, masonry lay-out <br />diagrams, reinforcing steel and bending diagrams, post tensioning plans, shoring, <br />cribbing, cofferdam, or falsework plans, formwork plans, or hydraulic items. Type 2 and <br />2E Working Drawings may include, and not be limited to, Catalog cuts or standard plans <br />for commonly used manufactured items. <br />The Contractor shall be fully responsible for the accuracy of dimensions and details on <br />Working Drawings, and for complete conformity with the Contract Documents, even if <br />the Working Drawings have been approved by the Engineer, or if the Contractor and the <br />Engineer agree on dimensions and details. The City does not accept Working Drawings <br />as accurate or adequate, and does not take responsibility for, or warrant that Working <br />Drawings will meet Contract requirements. <br />Engineer's review of Working Drawings shall not relieve Contractor from responsibility <br />for variation from the requirements of the Contract Documents unless Contractor has in <br />writing called the Engineer's attention to each such variation at the time of submission, <br />and the Engineer has given written approval of each such variation by a specific written <br />notation thereof incorporated in or accompanying the returned Working Drawing; nor will <br />review by Engineer relieve Contractor from responsibility for errors or omissions in the <br />Working Drawings or from responsibility for having complied with the provisions of this <br />section. <br />The Bid prices shall include all costs for furnishing Working Drawings and Submittals. <br />The following listed sections of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions <br />require Working Drawings that may or may not be applicable to this specific project. This <br />list is supplied as an aid to the Contractor and is by no means complete.
