CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Division 1 <br />Everett Mall Bus Platform General Requirements December 2024 <br />WO No – MALLSTN/24462 SP-47 <br />Include all cost incurred for obtaining the CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER <br />GENERAL PERMIT in appropriate bid item or items as no direct compensation will <br />be made. <br />This Project contains less than one acre of total disturbed area within the project limits <br />and does not require Contractor to apply for Ecology’s Construction Stormwater General <br />Permit. <br />1-07.9 Wages <br />1-07.9(1) General <br />Delete the first paragraph of 1-07.9(1) and substitute the following: <br />This Contract is subject to the minimum wage requirements of RCW 39.12 and to <br />RCW 48.28, as amended or supplemented. Workers shall receive no less than the <br />prevailing rate of wage. Bidder shall use the Washington State Prevailing Wage <br />Rates for Snohomish County, effective at the time of bid opening. Bidder is solely <br />responsible to use the schedule in effect at the Bid Opening Date, determine the <br />appropriate labor classification(s), and use the appropriate and correct prevailing <br />wage and benefit rate(s). The hourly minimum rates for wages and fringe benefits <br />can be obtained at the following URL: <br />https://www.lni.wa.gov/licensing-permits/public-works-projects/prevailing-wage- <br />rates <br />Printed copies of the current prevailing wage rates are available for viewing at City of <br />Everett Public Works, 3200 Cedar St, Everett, WA and the City will mail a hard copy <br />of the prevailing wage rates upon written request received within 7 days of the Bid <br />Opening Date. <br />Delete the fifth paragraph of 1-07.9(1) and substitute the following: <br />If employing labor in a class not listed in the L & I prevailing wage rate schedule, the <br />Contractor shall request a determination of the correct wage and benefits rate for <br />that class and locality from the Industrial Statistician, Washington State Department <br />of Labor and Industries (State L&I), and provide a copy of those determinations to <br />the Project Engineer. <br />Delete the final paragraph of 1-07.9(1) that begins with “There are many work-ready . . .“ <br />1-07.9(5) Required Documents <br />Supplement 1-07.9(5) by adding the following: <br />The City may require payroll reports for the Contractor and every Subcontractor be <br />submitted weekly to the Construction Division, Public Works Service Center, 3200 <br />Cedar Street, Everett, Washington 98201. The payroll reports shall contain the <br />following information: <br />1. Name and residence address of each worker. <br />2. Social Security number of each worker. <br />3. Classification of work performed by each worker. The classification shall be <br />specific and match the classification categories listed in the Contract <br />Documents. <br />4. Total number of hours employed each day. <br />5. Total number of hours employed during the payroll period. <br />6. Straight time and overtime hourly rate of wages paid to each worker.
