Operation Phase <br /> 5. Dumpsters must be covered and maintained, so that stormwater runoff from refuse does not enter <br /> storm drains or infiltrate into soil. <br /> 6. On sites containing hazardous materials, procedures to use in case of spills must be posted. <br /> 7. All chemicals or products of a hazardous or toxic nature that may be used or stored on the site must <br /> be stored under cover and isolated from the storm drainage system. <br /> Section 8: PUBLIC SERVICES AND UTILITIES <br /> 8.2 POLICE <br /> 1. All developments must provide adequate lighting of parking lots and others areas which have an <br /> increased risk for crime. Illumination should be a minimum of 3-4 foot candles. (The City of Everett <br /> Zoning Code requires that all parking lots with more than 10 spaces provide security lighting. Lighting <br /> must be shielded in a manner that does not disturb residential uses.) <br /> 8.6 PUBLIC WATER SUPPLIES <br /> 1. Looped water mains may be required for some sites to meet fire flow requirements and to protect <br /> water quality. Pressure reducing valves may be required when looped systems are constructed. <br /> 2. Developments must construct improvements necessary to provide a water pressure of 40-80 psi <br /> under normal operating conditions as required by Public Works. <br /> 3. Recycling of runoff water from bus or truck washing facilities is required. <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR DEVELOPER <br /> The following information is provided for the developer's benefit. These are not SEPA conditions but are <br /> associated with implementing the Planned Action and other laws or requirements. All requirements are <br /> preliminary in nature, and are based upon the preliminary site plan and the ordinances in effect at time of <br /> submittal for SEPA review. The proposal must comply with all ordinances in effect at the time a complete <br /> construction permit application is filed, including those not specifically set forth herein. <br /> Public Works Comments—Sabrina Fandler(425)258-7813 <br /> 1. Construction permits, inspections and final approvals are required fpr this project from City of Everett <br /> Permit Services. <br /> 2. A Public Works Permit is required for this project. Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design <br /> and Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department, showing site parking <br /> layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drainage, temporary construction erosion control, and all required <br /> improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works Department approval of these drawings is <br /> required prior to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, approved and <br /> warranted before the Occupancy Permit is issued/final approval is granted. <br /> 3. The construction plans must be designed from a site survey performed by a licensed State of <br /> Washington land surveyor. <br /> 4. Temporary erosion control measures for construction activity must be .perational prior to <br /> commencement of any clearing or earthwork. <br />
