2025 Chaplain Blowdown Salvage Timber Sale <br />ROADWORK NARRATIVE: <br /> <br />● No new road construction is required. <br />● The C-1030, C-1050, C-1330, and C-1060 spurs are currently abandoned. 18” diameter culverts will need <br />to be reinstalled in existing waterbars. One 18” culvert will need to be installed on C-1030, C-1050, and C- <br />1060 at the junction with the C-1000 road, and two 18” culverts will need to be installed on C-1330. No <br />other additional rock, surfacing, or pre-haul maintenance is required other than the four 18” culvert <br />reinstallations. <br />● Following the completion of salvaging operations, the C-1030, C-1050, C-1330, and C-1060 shall be <br />abandoned to prework conditions. <br />● Post-haul maintenance shall be performed on all roads used to restore to prework conditions. <br />● The Contract Administrator may approve the construction of new short spurs upon the request of the <br />Purchaser. <br /> <br />ROAD CLAUSES <br />SECTION 0 - SCOPE OF PROJECT <br />0-1 ROAD PLAN SCOPE: Clauses in this road plan apply to all road-related work, including landings and rock <br />source development, unless otherwise noted, permitted through FPA# 2819636.
