CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />LS 47 – Beverly Lake Sewer ReplacementDivision B – BID DESCRIPTIONS January 30, 2025 <br />WO No. – UP3529 SP - 19 <br /> <br />Bid Item 37 - UG POWER JUNCTION BOX (4'-8"x7' PUD JUNCTION BOX H20 <br />DIAMOND PLATE HATCH) <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per EACH (EA). <br />The unit contract price for UG POWER JUNCTION BOX (4'-8"x7' PUD JUNCTION <br />BOX H20 DIAMOND PLATE HATCH) is EA and shall constitute full compensation <br />for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for installation of PUD <br />junction box V0207 (or approved equal) including yet not limited to, all costs for <br />H20 rated non-slip hatches, excavation; hauling and disposing of surplus or <br />unsuitable material; dewatering; furnishing and installing; placing and compacting <br />native backfill; furnishing, placing, and compacting foundation material as required; <br />intercepting existing HDD installed 2-2” HDPE Conduits (installed by Bid Item 33).; <br />and replacing, protecting and maintaining existing utilities. Measurement and payment for UG POWER JUNCTION BOX (4’-8”x7’ PUD <br />JUNCTION BOX H20 DIAMOND PLATE HATCH) LDINGS will be on a EA basis, complete <br /> <br />Bid Item 38 - REPAIR TRAFFIC LOOPS AND UG POWER FOR ENTRY GATE <br />DETECTION <br />Measure and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF). <br />Measurement for REPAIR TRAFFIC LOOPS AND UG POWER FOR ENTRY GATE <br />DETECTION, for both loop perimeter and home run, shall be by linear foot of neat line <br />sawcut. The unit price per linear foot shall include saw cutting, cleaning, and drying of <br />pavement, installing loops and home runs, loop wire, sealant, splice kit, and splicing <br />between loop wire and lead-on cable, any work necessary to access a junction box, and <br />testing of the vehicle detectors as defined in Section 8-20.3(14)D. <br /> <br />Measurement and payment for REPAIR TRAFFIC LOOPS AND UG POWER FOR ENTRY <br />GATE DETECTION will be on a LF basis, complete. <br />. <br />Bid Item 39 - PLUMBING WATER SERVICE “HOTBOX” <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per EACH (EA). <br />The unit contract price for PLUMBING WATER SERVICE “HOTBOX” is EA and shall <br />constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for <br />installation of HOTBOX Model HB1.5 (or approved equal) including yet not limited to, all costs <br />for excavation; backfill, hauling and disposing of surplus or unsuitable material; dewatering; <br />furnishing and installing; placing and compacting native or suitable backfill; furnishing, <br />placing, and compacting foundation material as required; concrete leveling pad, anchor bolts, <br />piping, valves, drains, hydrants complete and replacing, protecting and maintaining existing <br />utilities. <br />
